פרופ' בועז ווייס

יליד ישראל (1969), נשוי ואב לנגה, תומר וענבר. פרופ' בועז ווייס התקבל לבית הספר
לרפואה ע"ש סאקלר באוניברסיטת תל אביב במסגרת ובמימון התכנית הדיסציפלינרית
לטיפוח מצויינות. עם סיום לימודי הרפואה בהצטיינות, החל פרופ' בועז ווייס בהתמחות
במיילדות, גינקולוגיה ופריון במרכז הרפואי ע"ש שיבא, תל-השומר. במסגרת התמחותו,
פרסם פרופ' בועז ווייס מאמרים רבים והציג עבודות בכנסים בינלאומיים.
במהלך התמחותו, קיבל פרופ' בועז ווייס מלגת הצטיינות מטעם "פרויקט תלפיות",
פרויקט לקידום הצטיינות רפואית מטעם המרכז הרפואי שיבא לשם המשך הכשרתו.

עם סיום התמחותו, התקבל פרופ' בועז ווייס להשתלמות בת שנתיים ביחידה לרפואת העובר (בראשותו של פרופ' רודק מ-"אבות" תחום רפואת העובר בעולם), במרכז הרפואי University College London שבלונדון, אנגליה. השתלמות זו כללה הכשרה קלינית ומחקרית ברפואת העובר. במהלך השתלמותו עבר הסמכה פורמלית בשקיפות עורפית (מטעם פרופ' ניקולאידס - King’s College), סקירות מערכות ופעולות פולשניות כגון דיקורי מי שפיר, סיסי שליה, הפחתת עוברים ועוד. בהמשך, עבד פרופ' בועז ווייס עם פרופ' וואלד אשר פיתח את בדיקות הסקר המתקדמות לגילוי תסמונת דאון.

כיום, מכהן פרופ' בועז ווייס כמנהל המכון לדימות במיילדות, גינקולוגיה ורפואת העובר - המרכז הרפואי שיבא, תל-השומר.
